Implementing an ERP does not only imply a migration of the information system, in which technical expertise prevails. Over and above technical requirements, it can also reveal the wish to unite work teams around a company project. For the executive board, this represents a unique opportunity to design new communication tools and to improve internal processes. In order to achieve such aims, it is therefore necessary to promote common goals throughout most levels of the corporate hierarchy, while ensuring the proper functioning of the company's services throughout the transition period. Encouraging participation and communication between services that had lost the opportunity or the habit to do so, redesigning work practises, defining target processes within the company's strategy are some of the challenges Ediliance has committed itself to take on.
